The CrossFit Spark program is intended as an introduction to the sport of CrossFit. It involves basic movements and workouts that focus on improving the proficiency of those movements. All CrossFit workouts are scalable to match your level of experience.
Don't expect to find treadmills, ellipticals, or weightlifting machines at Gauntlet CrossFit. The gym's certified instructors eschew traditional workout equipment, instead opting to run their students through—you guessed it—a gauntlet of kettlebell lifts and medicine-ball tosses. The exercises are inspired by functional movements and designed to boost endurance, tone core muscles, and enhance the body's ability to crash through brick walls.
