• True olive tree (Olea Europea), Arbequina variety
• Perennial plant
• Grow for the fruit, harvest their oil, or purely as an ornamental specimen
• Known for flavor, exceedingly high concentration of antioxidant-rich oils
• Low maintenance plant that is disease, rot, and drought resistant
• High yield of mild oil and high, constant fruit productivity
• Compact tree, good for intensive planting and small spaces
• Tree will begin to bear fruit in first season (some trees may arrive with small fruit)
• Self-pollinating fruiting olive which does not require additional plants (though more than one plant will help each plant produce even more fruit per plant)
• Fruit can be harvested in Fall (typically October – November)
• Recommended USDA Zones 8-11 for outdoor, 3-11 for indoor planting
• Plants require full sun, indoors at least 6-7 hours of direct sunlight exposure
• Frost hardy down to 20°F; should be brought indoors in areas of harder frost
• If the plant is in a container and pruned regularly, it will remain relatively dwarf and compact
• Mature height: up to 20’ depending on use
• Ships in a 2-gallon growers pot; can remain in or be transplanted to another container or into the garden
