Ismael Neggaz—co-owner of artisanal chocolate company Chocotenango—has learned how to tell the fantastic varieties from the so-so, and he shares his secrets during this hands-on lesson. After covering the basics, the chocolatier helps you temper chocolate and form mint truffles, leaving you with the knowledge to craft more decadent treats at home.

    After a brief lesson on the history of chocolate, Ismael delves into the finer points of chocolate-making, including how to temper chocolate and craft lollipops.

  • Hands-On Instruction
    Under Ismael’s instruction, you’ll make mint-chocolate truffles.

  • Take-Home Treats
    To wrap up, the group plays a fun game and splits up the truffles to take home.
