You’ll leave with a full belly, a new understanding of vegan cooking, and maybe even a few new friends.

Kala’s workshop holds no allegiance to any nation’s cuisine, instead highlighting vegan cooking styles hailing everywhere from Italy to India.
Prepare and Munch on Vegan Dishes
Along with Kala and the other participants, you’ll craft three to four vegan items to enjoy at the end of class. Examples include balsamic-roasted grapes and olives, chickpea picatta, or spinach risotto with sun-dried tomatoes.
The class features recipes using practical ingredients that can easily be found at the grocery store and incorporated into your own cooking.
Kala Ganapathy has always found joy in creating new dishes and serving them to friends and family. To fulfill her passion for cooking, she was inspired to start her own catering and personal chef business, assembling healthy, delicious vegetarian meals for those with little time to worry about healthy eating. Frustrated with the dearth of vegetarian restaurants in her town, she recently began hosting family-style dinners at her own table, delighting guests with warm company and hearty meals.
