What You'll Get
Photographs of precious moments are the greatest gifts relatives can leave behind for their descendants, aside from genes for cowlick-resistant hair or hints to where the inheritance is buried. Pass on a transgenerational treasure with today’s Groupon: for $75, you get a photography package from Heather Swanner Photography Studio (a $513 value). Sessions can be held at the photographer’s studio in Cary or on location within 30 miles of Raleigh. The package includes:
- A 30–60 minute on-location or in-studio photo session (a $100 value)
- A DVD of 10 images (a $333 value)
- Two 5”x7” prints (an $80 value)<p>
A seasoned wedding and child photographer with more than 17 years of memory-snatching experience, Heather Swanner tackles fleeing moments and incarcerates them in prints and discs. A 30–60 minute sitting can document families, newborns, children, and mothers-to-be. Lookie-loos browse an online gallery of their images or return to the studio to peruse them after the shoot. The top 10 selections undergo color correction, basic retouching, and removal of any passing park animals’ souls that got trapped in the camera before they get engraved upon a commemorative DVD, and two lucky shots get the ultimate honor of being displayed as 5”x7” prints.
Heather Swanner’s photography style includes a mixture of posing and lifestyle shots, ensuring a mix of classical compositions and spontaneous moments. She recommends that photographees don coordinated solid-color clothing and politely ask any stress to wait in the car until afterwards.
