What is sex and why does it matter? This is the question posed by The Sex Show, a devised theater performance that explores the meaning of sex and gender in the wake of Caitlyn Jenner and the legalization of gay marriage in the United States. Through monologues, songs, poems and movement pieces, this play at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica digs deep into the six performers' hearts and personal experiences as they try to get at the role of gender and sexuality in our world today.
