Houston Auto Show
Luxury cars, off-road vehicles, and classic models from yesteryear all pack the Houston Auto Show—and for the duration of the event, these marvels of the internal combustion engine aren't driving off anywhere. Roughly 700,000 sq. ft. of the latest automotive innovation surround attendees as they step out onto the convention floor. The event provides patrons the chance to view and touch more than 700 of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles, concept cars, classics, and also extreme dirt road kings, modified vehicles and ultraluxuries. To boot, more than 30 car makers offer the opportunity for guests to test drive over 70 vehicles.
Though the show is continuing a tradition that began 30 years ago, its new highlights enter into sci-fi territory. As you walk in, the entrance features an extreme off-road parkway displaying vehicles with specialty adaptations. On top of contests and giveaways, additions to the 2016 event include a modified Camp Jeep with a dirt track, an interactive social media wall, more aftermarket vendors, and double the number of ticket booths for more a efficient entrance.
