What You'll Get
Talking about sports, like winning the lotto and undergoing surgery, goes better with a hamburger and fries. Improve sports conversations with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of burgers, steaks, seafood, and other classic American dishes at Humperdink's, a Dallas-area restaurant and sports bar. This Groupon is good at all five Dallas-area locations—in Arlington, Addison, Richardson, or the two in Dallas proper. Per state law, this Groupon cannot be used for alcohol.
Humperdink's gigantic menu combines classic American hamburgers, sandwiches, pizza, steaks, and sliders with Tex-Mex and Cajun dishes to form a culinary cornucopia that would make any pilgrim hang his buckle hat in shame. Wrap hands around the extreme blackjack burger, a meaty wad char-grilled in cracked black pepper and topped with Jack Daniel's mustard, pepper-jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle chips, and onions ($12.99), or swap the patty for an USDA-prime ground-beef patty or all-natural Kobe beef patty for an additional $4.99. Classic Cajun dishes include jambalaya ($11.99 for dinner), blackened chicken ($11.99 for dinner), and Southern-fried catfish ($12.99 for dinner). Steaks, such as a filet mignon ($22.99) or rib eye ($23.99), can be prepared Cajun-style, teriyaki-style, or smothered in mushroom-peppercorn sauce for $1.99 extra. Sunday brunch and a kids' menu are also available.
Eats are served at Humperdink's until 1:30 a.m., satisfying late-night rib cravings and preventing injuries sustained during pitch-black barbecues. Or stop by during the day to catch the game; all Humperdink's locations are decorated with a gallery of arty TVs hanging on the walls. The atmosphere is casual and celebratory, so bring fellow sports enthusiasts or an uptight welder who was just promoted at the electric-shovel factory for a night of American yum and cheerful fun.
Today's Groupon may be used for dine-in only, and is not valid with specials or other discounts.
Yelpers give an average of three stars to the Addison, Richardson, Greenville Avenue, and Northwest Highway locations. TripAdvisors give the Arlington location an average of four stars and PubCrawlers call the drinks great and the meals good:
- This restaurant has the BEST calamari I have ever tried. Their sauce is a Red pepper Thai sauce that is amazing, and they actually cut their calamari there, so it's not the typical chewy ring of calamari, they are tender strips. – TripAdvisor reviewer on Facebook
- Dinner time here is great they have something for everyone I garantee! [sic] I have had the steak and lobster the crab, chicken fried steak grilled sammon [sic] and many many more at this place... – Travis and Elizabeth n. on the Addison location, Yelp
- Holy hamburger, Batman! Although I didn't eat one, my colleagues each ordered a big fat juicy cheeseburger (hey, we had just run a 5k...) and my eyes popped out of my head when they came out of the kitchen. HUGE. – Nikki B. on the Greenville Avenue location, Yelp
