Known for its spices, Indian fare jolts the taste buds in a manner that kissing an electrical socket could never match. Enjoy shockingly good cuisine with today’s Groupon: for $5, you get $10 worth of Indian cuisine at Indian Oven.

The victual virtuosos at Indian Oven sizzle curries, spice vegetables, and simmer chicken into a rich mélange of Indian dishes. Delicacies include chicken tikka masala ($10.95) and a vegetable samosa ($2.50). White tablecloths accept the delicious burden of chicken jalfareza’s spicy marination ($10.95) and tandoori chicken ($10.95). Diners sink fangs into aalu gobi ($6.95) or a rack of tandoori lamb ($12.95) amid red-and-white walls and flower-twined pillars, polishing off their meals with the sweet crescendo of mango or pistachio kulfi ($2.95), great for extinguishing taste-bud fires or the products of pyromaniac friends' fidgeting.

Indian Oven

The waitstaff at Indian Oven have been known to recommend just the right dish to those unfamiliar with Indian cuisine, even arranging sampler plates from their lunch buffet as a culinary introduction. Regardless of a diner's level of experience with Indian cuisine, though, it's easy to find enjoyable flavors on the restaurant's menu. Mild, housemade paneer cheese and potato dumplings simmer in rich sauces, and cuts of chicken or lamb marinate in a savory mixture of yogurt, spices, and Al Green songs before sizzling in a clay tandoor oven. Guests can alternate bites with sips of sweet, milky Indian–style coffee or creamy mango lassi.

Their naan was absolutely to die for! The butter chicken was also delicious, I got mine mild (I will get medium or spicy next time), and my husband got his spicy! Everything was fresh and delicious.
