This experience was very fun and informative! Seeing the studio and the talent of all the glass blowers is truly incredible. Absolutely book this experience if you want an awesome time, to learn a very cool skill and you get to go home with a homemade gift!

This was such a wonderful experience! This is a very small outfit and the owner himself conducted our intimate class, just my husband and I. We arrived early and as we were waiting, we had a wonderful conversation with his wife. He goes through the basic science of glassblowing and how it works, which was very interesting and also gives a background on his education and qualifications. He is very hands-on to ensure you actually leave with a piece of art because glass blowing is not very easy. There are a lot of things you have to do at once and he helps you keep up with everything. Despite how hands-on he was, I still very much felt like I created my piece of art. I would come back over and over and over. Oh! And they have a shop dog named Halle Berry, which was the cherry on top.

Even in the heat of the summer, time spent at Janke is fun and interesting. several years ago I had done the Christmas ornament class and this time my sisters and son did pulled glass flower. Ian Janke did our session and he was interesting and fun and really helpful. Mr Janke was there working in the studio and came over to visit with us. Best time ever. Don't advise young kids as the glass kilns are extremely hot.
