Never would have known about this race had I not seen it on Groupon. It was a tough race with all of the hills, but I love a good challenge. The tech tshirts were also a nice bonus.

This was a great race for runners who like a challenging, hilly course. I’m still sore.. two days later! There weren’t many people who ran, so you will have plenty of space to run without feeling crowded. The race is on the street, so be prepared to share part of the road with traffic, although there are cones and volunteers/police officers where necessary! The logistics of this race were easy - parking was simple, no traffic jams getting in or out, no lines to pick up your race packet, etc. Also- can’t beat the price! The only suggestion I would make is to allow runners the option to pick up their T-shirts after the race- otherwise you have to walk 10-15 minutes back to your car before the race to drop it off (if you’re alone). Overall, I’d recommend it to others! I’ll likely do it again next year!

Must have more water at the end. not a whole lot of food. Mile 2 water station was great. Gatorade would have been helpful

1.What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? A great Broad Street alternative - We offer a challenging, scenic 10-mile loop with plenty of hills through King of Prussia, beginning and ending at Heuser Park on Beidler Road. Course is USATF certified. The 5K course is a rolling loop that also starts and finishes at Heuser Park. 5K and 10 Mile finishers receive gender specific technical shirts. 10 Miler finishers receive medals.
2. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? A decade ago there were no suburban 10 milers and we thought we could be successful if the race was well designed and organized, many of our volunteers are competitive runners and felt the same way!
3. What do you love most about your job? Race Director says, “It is run entirely by volunteers and has lasted and grown for a decade.”
4. What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer? “I really enjoyed this race. Packet pick-up was easy and quick. Plenty of port a potties. Volunteers were great. Water every 2 miles. Timing results were same day! Tough course but the hills made it fun.”
