Kombucha Brooklyn

Kombucha is a sweet, fermented tea, inoculated with the kombucha culture—a mix of bacteria and yeast that's said to improve digestion, clear skin, and banish toxins from the system. At Kombucha Brookyln, Jessica and Eric Childs share their love of the drink with bottled brews in such flavors as lemon drop, red ginger root, and Straight Up, the original flavor that tastes more cultured than a churro at the Louvre. The team also helps visitors brew their own kombucha with assorted classes, as well as home brew kits that are handmade in the shop’s namesake borough.
