A romantic dinner can encourage flirtatious conversation, create shared taste-based memories, and expose your partner's deep-seeded fear of salad forks. Take your relationship to the next culinary level with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 worth of Mediterranean-inspired dinner fare at Lulav, located in the Mathis building on West Sixth Street. Dinner is served nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Lulav pairs an amorous ambience with an affinity for Mediterranean fare fused with California cuisine. A rotating menu of dinner delights changes throughout the week, giving culinary artists repeated occasions to doff their bread berets at your palate with plates of flavorful seafood, pastas, and more. Past appetizing show-starters have included the Lulav signature crab cake ($13), bursting with classified spices and herbs, and the mussels arrabbiata ($13), which flex their savory selves in a tomato-and-chorizo reduction. Pasta offerings, such as the pasta sicilia ($14), rope in taste buds with oven-roasted chicken, roma tomatoes, and leeks lassoed by traditional noodles. The pan-cooked Pompeii lamb ($36 for a half rack; $49 for a full rack) tempts retired shepherds back into service with tasty coatings of dijon mustard and pecans in a mint demi-glace, accompanied by flocks of rosemary hash browns and fava beans. Desserts, such as The Italian Princess ($8)––a Frangelico-infused chocolate torte with Godiva mint chantilly cream––make average sweet teeth feel like royalty and queenly molars feel like dental emperors.

- I simply can't get enough of their Bistro Burgers. My girlfriend and I go to lunch here once a week and sometimes split stuff so that we can try more!!! – LaurieinLR, TripAdvisor
