What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I have a Ph.D. in Education and have been teaching for 25 years. I teach music theory, composition, Jazz, classical, popular, saxophone, composition, flute, clarinet, piano, violin, trumpet, trombone, french horn, tuba, baritone, oboe, songwriting, recording, children's music.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Please bring all of your materials to your first lesson. I can assess where you are and what materials you will need to purchase to get you there. I teach all ages: 3 to 103! I am a member of the MTAC and teach all levels - beginners to professionals!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
While getting my Master's degree, I went to the career center. I took a personality test that said I was very similar to a teacher. So I continued being a teacher and never stopped. I am interested in seeing YOU be successful!
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing students get better and better. I especially like teaching Improvisation Minor Key Harmony Extended and Secondary Dominants Tritone Substitution Modal Interchange Altered Dominant Scale Diminished Harmony Non-Functional Harmony
