Non-contact forehead medical thermometer allows measuring body temperature from a slight distance, without touching the body
I already wrote a review about my overall disappointment with Medcare Rehab, not feeling welcome and respected for my concerns around the coronavirus.
This review is for the cupping. It was strange, as expected. And, uncomfortable at times, especially when they used the cups to massage me. But that is exactly what I signed up for.
It negatively impacted my sleep and left me feeling cloudy the next day, but there is supposed to be a positive impact on my body so I said yes to it. I don't feel better, but I am glad I tried. Actually, it is hard for me to know if any improvements happened, just like eating organics or breathing fresh air, but still I do it.
So, I guess I'd say, I recommend trying cupping if you are curious, but this wasn't the place for me to do it.
When I called to book this massage and another groupon for cupping, I was unpleasantly told I couldn't use them together, even though cupping is best fit with massage. I asked for a Friday and she said groupons are only for Wednesday. She was unpleasant. Eventually she agreed for me to use them together on a Wednesday, a partial compromise.
I called before the massage asking if they had masks to wear so that I could relax into the massage with the whole coronavirus scare. They said they had masks and would wear one.
I arrived and the receptionists was super welcoming. But the massage therapist didn't have a mask as promised and they brushed off my concerns saying that the surfaces are clean. I reluctantly agreed to a face down massage.
The cupping woman mentioned to me that I wouldn't get face up anyway because I had a groupon. She REALLY doesn't like groupons. Made me feel like a second-class customer. Why would they use groupon if they didn't want us as customers?
I paid for a 30-min and a 60-min session. It ended after 70 minutes, 20 minutes short.
Again, they just didn't seem to try to win me as a long-term client.
As for the cupping, it was interesting, I am glad I tried it. It impacted my sleep quality and made me cloudy the next day so keep that in mind if you need high performance for work or something. The massage was fine, non-eventful.
All in all, the place is fine, but I am used to feeling a bit more welcomed and respected, and thus I won't return again.
