About Miracle Mile Cafe
Ginger Sandoval worked at several Marin County restaurants before becoming the first food server at Miracle Mile Cafe when it opened in May 2011. Six short months later, she actually purchased the cafe from the owner, who had no previous restaurant experience and didn't realize how much hard work and ketchup it required.
Sandoval's Miracle Mile Cafe now has a little bit of everything—house-made jam on toast, recipes from Peru, and a whole separate menu of gluten-free options. But the focal point and crowd favorite are the cinnamon-roll pancakes coated in a classic glaze. This breakfast specialty is served all day alongside lunch favorites including house-roasted turkey sandwiches, quinoa veggie soup, and lomo saltado, a Peruvian steak plate featuring strips of filet mignon stir-fried with veggies and tossed with fries.
