About Mondello Italian Restaurant
Giuseppe and Corino grew up as best friends in Mondello, Sicily, before traveling to Seattle, where they opened Mondello Italian Restaurant. Their kitchen introduces diners to Sicilian specialties such as spaghetti bolognese with housemade noodles and Black Angus beef, as well as Italian favorites such as eggplant caponata.
Sky-blue walls and sand-colored floors create a nautical theme surrounding staff as they deliver fresh seafood to rustic wooden tables and tie nearby curtains into bowline knots. After sampling colorful salads, diners can dig into Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas at Giuseppe and Corino's neighboring restaurant, Queen Margherita Pizzeria.
