What You'll Get
Cups provide containment for life-sustaining water, protect the tender nether regions, and allow eavesdropping through walls. Combine these benefits with the scrumptiousness of cake with today's Groupon: for $18, you get a dozen cupcakes at Mrs. Beasley's (a $42 value). This Groupon can be redeemed at two locations in Costa Mesa and locations in Beverly Hills, Encino, Tarzana, and Pasadena (see sidebar).
Mrs. Beasley’s offers a tasty assortment of sweet baked goods to help wipe the sour grins off tongues. Indulge cupcake fantasies with today’s deal, which gets customers a dozen fresh, handmade giant colossal cupcakes ($3–$3.50 each) made from the finest ingredients, such as fresh-squeezed California lemons and limes and coconuts and macadamia nuts from Hawaii. In-store selections—which can all be dipped in chocolate, unlike most electronics—include red velvet, coconut, cherry, mint, peanut butter, and many more.
Mrs. Beasley’s builds its sacchariferous treats in a 30,000-square-foot facility located in Carson, where it pursues its goal of nothing less than total domination in the world of baked sweets. Tantalize your tongue with 12 tastes of cupped cakes that will leave it panting for more, just like it does during extra-tense rounds of Candy Land.
This Groupon is for in-store purchases only.
Mrs. Beasley's made some national noise for its John McCain– and Barack Obama–inspired treats in 2008. The Los Angeles Times featured the bakery in 2007, and many other media outlets have highlighted it. Its cupcakes even got a mention on Entertainment Tonight and Larry King Live, thanks to Paris Hilton.
