MyHandleBar's fleet of specialty 16-passenger bicycles ferries pub crawlers along carefully curated bar and brewery tours in Boulder and Fort Collins. Make an individual reservation for a seat on the be-spoked bar, or corral 24 to 32 friendly feet to generate momentum while one of MyHandleBar's designated drivers supervises steering and stopping. Fort Collins' Brew-Muda Experience highlights craft breweries such as New Belgium, Odell, CooperSmith's, Equinox, and Old Chicago, where revelers may sample brewed ambrosia and play spin the sprocket. Tours in Boulder include the Boulder Bar Bash, which whizzes by city landmarks, haunted bars, and other watering holes such as Walrus, The Attic, Catacombs, and The Rio. Every tour includes a maximum of five stops of your choice, and customized routes are available for $200 per hour with a two-hour minimum, whose cost can be offset with the value of this Groupon. The mustache-loving cycle captains require all pedalers be 18 or older to ride and 21 or older to drink during the tour. Bicycle and Viking helmets are provided but not required.
A bright-yellow, 16-headed creature has been spotted roaming the Colorado landscape. Fortunately, though, all of these heads are separate. Custom-built in the Netherlands, MyHandleBar is a fully pedal-powered bar bike with ample seating for 16 passengers and one designated driver. The project was the brainchild of Colorado-born entrepreneur and philanthropist Theresa Preston, who wanted to share her love of cycling through Colorado's cities with others. MyHandleBar pushes that dream into reality with regular tours through the streets of Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins, each of which makes several stops at local bars and landmarks.
