What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Many personal trainers rush you into barbells. Yoga classes are not tailored specifically for you. This session assesses your abilities and challenges you to improve strength, flexibility, cardiovascular [health], and endurance capabilities.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
If I try to impose motivation on others, the motivation ends with the session. What I do is help others motivate themselves by treating each person differently.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After experiencing the benefits of power yoga first hand as a personal trainer, I wanted to utilize it as the focus of training sessions. [Training is] appropriate for all levels of fitness—yoga beginners and regular yoga practitioners.
What do you love most about your job?
People. Helping folks find their personal path to health and fitness. Different techniques resonate with different people, so creating programs like this to reach those who don’t like traditional exercise is very rewarding.
