Italy has given us legendary works of art, from the evocative paintings of Caravaggio and da Vinci to the miniature meat sculptures of Boyardee. Admire edible Italian masterpieces with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of Italian fine dining at Rino’s Italian Ristorante.

For nearly 30 years, Rino’s Italian Ristorante's chef and owner, Rino, has dished up authentic Italian cuisine researched for historical and regional significance and crafted with fresh ingredients from his own garden. Gastronomic gallivants into the old country kick off with escargots ($9.99) or bruschetta ortolana ($10.99) appetizers before weary teeth rest their dentin against entrees of meaty lasagna ($15.90) or vegetarian eggplant parmesan ($15.90). Guests can hang their hunger hats on full racks of lamb with mint sauce ($33.90) or nosh ravenously on penne with shrimp, italian sausage, tomato fillets, and peperoncino ($16.50). Each entree brings escorts of minestrone or lentil soup and can pair with a selection from the extensive wine list. Sugary strokes of genius take the form of homemade cheesecake ($6.50) or bread pudding with hot rum sauce ($7), which is filled with more adult spirits than a haunted voting booth.

Old-World ambience pervades Rino's Italian Ristorante's dining room, where patrons slide their knees under cloth-draped tables surrounded by high-backed leather chairs. Wooden barrels, oil paintings, and stained-glass panels of vintners laze in guests' peripheries, and rustic charm spills from the dining room onto a grape arbor where patrons can gaze at the stars or marvel at the waxing moon's smoothness.

Customer Reviews

They were wonderful. Unfortunately they have closed. A real loss of just a nice Italian family restaurant with great people..

Amazing food! Everything so fresh and delish! Best food Ive had in a long time. We wore jeans and were a little underdressed, but no one made us feel that way at all. They were very accommodating as well. The specials were salmon piccata and halibut pomodoro. I mentioned that halibut would be amazing in the piccata and they said "we'd be happy to that for you" an it was the most amazing halibut I've ever had. Can't wait to go back to this place. It dosent look like much from the outside but it is superb!
