What You'll Get

Contrary to popular belief, when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a lawsuit. Enjoy Italian cuisine without fear of physical reprisal with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $45 worth of Italian and continental cuisine at Ruffino's Restaurant, voted one of the top 10 best restaurants in Fort Worth by 10Best.

Ruffino's is a culinary paradise that revolves around the gastronomic genius of Chef Asdren Azemi. Graduating in the top five of his class from The French Culinary Institute in New York City, Azemi's classically trained food-potion skills emanate from every impeccably crafted dish found on the dinner, lunch, and Sunday brunch menus. Revel in the simplicity of Italian antipasti offerings such as the hand-pressed Russet-potato gnocchi ($12) or Prince Edward Island mussels ($12). Garden goodies dance with the Ruffino's Salad ($8), which delicately sprinkles feta, fried olives, and seasonal vegetables with balsamic-tomato vinaigrette. After your pre-mealing, dive face first into Franco's lasagna ($17), with ground beef, rich ricotta, and fresh herbs all smothered with the Ruffino family's robust tomato sauce. Or go with the spaghetti with diver scallops ($22) or the wild-salmon steak ($26), laid atop roasted eggplant, asparagus, seasonal tomato, and olive-oil vinaigrette. Although wine is not included in this deal, you can click here to print out an invitation for a complimentary glass between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. any night.

Ruffino's romantic, multi-level, intimate seating area is outfitted with white-clothed tables, rustic taupe walls, passionate pictures of love, and elegant red drapes. Bring your favorite spouse for a romantic meal, or dine solo and bring leftovers home to store in a refrigerated tent. Call ahead to make a reservation. Ruffino's is closed on Mondays.

  • Executive chef Asdren Albanese seems to specialize in creating rich, sensual foods that are perfect for spoon-feeding to your beloved. Nuggets of yielding russet potato gnocchi, morsels of flaky salmon, tingles of lemon tart - every bite bursts with enticing flavor and texture. – Fort Worth Weekly
  • What I experienced at Ruffino’s was not your typical “it was OK” or “sure, I’d go back.” As much as it is overused, my meal was “amazing!” – Mike Bloomberg, Fort Worth Business Press
  • A wonderful Fort Worth Restaurant: In 10 years I must have eaten at Ruffino's dozens of times and have never been disappointed. – C C, Yahoo! Local
