The restaurant was immaculate, the staff pleasant, courteous and helpful with any questions about the food. I ordered the Tandoori combination, and it was absolutely delicious!

The skilled chefs at Saffron serve up fusion dishes and classic Indian cuisine in a sleek dining room swathed with orange draperies. At the sound of the dinner siren, the paneer pakora appetizer leaps onto the table to attend to any emergencies in need of chickpea-battered cheese curds. For their main dish, customers can contrast the cool blue-and-purple lighting of Saffron’s dining area with the simmering spices in lamb vindaloo, which chefs marinate in spicy gravy with pickled onions and potatoes, or chow down on murg chilli masala stocked with green chili and tender morsels of chicken. Alternatively, vegetarian patrons can bury meat-free pirate treasure beneath forkfuls of vegetable dum biriyani, cooked over low heat and flavored with Saffron’s titular spice. As they finish dinner, patrons can slowly sip a glass of wine with one or three companions and an unlimited number of imaginary friends.
