AMAZE-BALLS!!! I bought these as a b-day gift for my mom as she has wanted to try glassblowing for awhile. I have taken a glassblowing class elsewhere and enjoyed it but this experience blew it right out of the water. Did I mention there is a disco ball?! Our instructor Jess was super informative and taught us all kinds of little tips and tricks for our projects. Definitely going back!

We had a good time with this class, and came away with some glass pieces we really enjoyed making and now having around. I'd definitely recommend it and just wished we lived closer to maybe do some more regular glass skils training. While it isn't the cheapest Groupon, it was still a good value for us.

This was a highlight from our trip. I purchased the session for two people. We had the instructor and space to ourselves for a full hour. Our instructor was very good at giving clear directions, kept the experience safe, and allowed for creativity. Our ornaments are beautiful and will serve as a perfect souvenir from our trip to Seattle.

Great experience, except the bowl they made had a crack in it when we picked it up. Kind of a bummer.

About Seattle Glassblowing Studio & Gallery

The craft masters at Seattle Glassblowing Studio & Gallery guide pupils to artistic bliss by expounding on a spectrum of steps needed to create intricate pieces. Whether taking a "Blow Your Own Glass" class or forming a clique in a one- to three-person private class, students turn provided materials into bowls, cups, and decorative piles of glass shards. Professional glass wielders safely impart etiquette and basic techniques such as gathering glass on a rod and shaping it into colorful geometric forms.

The shop's instructors also offer their own artistic services, including custom commissions such as functional lighting and installation pieces. Damaged glass heirlooms undergo repairs in the cold-working shop, where artisans restore shattered pieces and polish away dullness left behind by covetous pawing.
