It was a nice experience, but they were very unorganized and offered very little information. We called and asked what we needed to know....telling us to bring a cooler, entertainment or something would have been very helpful. They broke our group up into separate flights/jumps but we didn't know it until it was time to jump. I would try somewhere else to jump again first before I'd return. They were in a big rush to get everyone cattled through. They really need to only take a maximum amount of people so they can give each person a better experience. They'll never get return customers the way they operate.

Great staff who try really hard to keep their customers happy during unexpected weather delays. I am recommending them to all my friends who want to try a tandem jump.

Hands down the best experience of my life! The staff is professional, friendly, and to say the least comforting for someone that was scared to death of jumping out of a plane!! Arnold was amazing as with the rest of the staff. I would recommend Skydive Great Lakes for an amazing diving experience! I will be visiting them again soon.

Skydive Great Lakes’ expert instructors accompany first-time divers on heart-palpitating plunges from Pilatus Porter planes. Aerial escapades begin with a 20-minute ground lesson, in which teachers introduce students to the basics of skydiving through video demonstrations. Groups don the provided gear before boarding planes, soaring to upper altitudes in 12- to 15-minute rides as guides regale divers with a final instructional briefing. Then teacher-student duos leap from the aircraft for a thrilling minute of free fall. Once parachutes open, instructors can guide rides down smoothly, or steer canopies to spiral or chase after escaped parade floats. For an additional cost, those eager to capture the moment on film can enlist the services of a videographer, who captures all the airborne action, allowing grounded friends to watch dives live from an LCD system and leaving adventurers with filmed evidence of their escapades.

About Skydive Great Lakes

Nick Kant and Heather Adams wanted the already extraordinary feeling of free fall to be even more incomparable for their customers. The couple devised a skydiving business that could be exhilarating not only for the jumpers but for their family and friends. At Skydive Great Lakes, nonskydivers are welcome to cheer on their flying pals in drop zones designed for spectators, who can view a live video feed from onboard the aircraft. Nick's skills as an aerial videographer allow clients to capture every moment of an inaugural tandem dive, from the initial jump-off to the inevitable midair arguments with Peter Pan. Flying out of Goshen, ground-school grads can board a yellow Pilatus Porter plane that fits up to 10 jumpers. Heather and Nick are the only enthusiasts in the country who launch skydivers from a Sikorsky S-55 helicopter, which hovers over drop zones on select weekends.
