My sister and I took this tour and had a really great time! Our tour guide was informative and peppered in nice balance of history and haunted lore. I’d definitely recommend taking this tour if you have an interest in ghost stories and want to learn about the city from a local.

The Deal

  • $16 for a Pioneer Square walking tour for two (up to $34 value)

This 90-minute tour takes visitors through Seattle’s most historic district, with locations including the Pioneer Square Hotel, the Smith Tower, and Merchants Cafe and Saloon, the city’s oldest restaurant. They’ll hear stories collected by real paranormal investigators about murder, suicide, unfortunate deaths, and the ghosts that continue to haunt the area.

About Spooked in Seattle Ghost Tours

Since 2004, Spooked in Seattle has been telling the stories of real hauntings and providing evidence captured on real paranormal investigations by AGHOST (Advanced Ghost Hunters of Seattle-Tacoma). The Original Pioneer Square Ghost Tour takes you through Seattle’s oldest neighborhood, with locations including the Pioneer Square Hotel, the Smith Tower, and Merchant’s Cafe and Saloon, Seattle’s oldest restaurant. You'll hear the real stories of the ghosts that continue to haunt the area, topped off by venturing into a portion of Seattle’s famous “underground,” with nothing but a flashlight. The Original Pioneer Square Tour takes place mostly outside around the Pioneer Square neighborhood, and is not a haunted house or an “underground” tour (though one small section of “underground” is visited at the very end of the tour). This is a haunted historical tour, so if you are looking for a haunted house experience or an “underground” tour, this is probably not the tour for you.
