Personal trainer and Strongside founder Mitchel Black has a list of certifications and accomplishments that would make any bodybuilder blush. Certified as a US Olympic weight coach, he has hosted a health and fitness radio show, completed in an Ironman triathalon, and, today, facilitates 30 day paleo challenges in eight countries.
But while his own accomplishments may sound intimidating, Black started Strongside with the goal of making physical health and strength accessible to everyone. His own journey transformed him from a thin, endurance athlete to a strength-focused athlete, and he helps others make similar transformations in a six-day-a-week schedule of ever-changing classes—or Workouts of the Day. Throughout the week, these workouts revolve to keep participants not only engaged, but to help maximize the building of muscle and shedding of fat so that they stay motivated and on track.
