The Little Black Booth and its trusty attendant migrate to capture memories on location at weddings, proms, and special events. Pop monochromatic poses with or without provided props in black and white, or switch to color photography to show off prismatic garbs that are printed on four-photo strips within 20 seconds. The soft-sided walls of the picture booth expand to fit entire wedding parties, third-grade classes, or one Easter Island moai, and a screen inside the booth acts as a mirror so guests can accurately aim smiles. Event titles can be monogrammed onto each photo strip to forever commemorate birthdays or holidays, and polaroidic recollections can be consigned into a wall-mountable 11”x14” photo collage to remember friends, family, and party-crashing senators. A booth assistant guides partygoers in their memory-making attempts, and also sets up and tears down the booth.
Matthew Kemmetmueller took the reigns of Kemmetmueller Photography in 2010, but the roots of the business go much deeper down than that. Matthew's father founded the studio in 1972, long before the invention of digital photography and when the term "camera-phone" just meant a rotary phone on a tripod. In June of 2013, Matthew was named Member of the Month at Wedding & Portrait Photography International, and his business has expanded beyond family portraits, sports shots, and senior photos to include photography and technical workshops.
