Without locally grown ingredients, earthlings would have to settle for intergalactic imports, leaving lactose intolerant diners unable to eat anything from the Milky Way. Support local lunching with today's Groupon for seasonal American fare at The Morning Glory Café in Black Mountain. Choose between the following options:

  • For $7, you get $15 worth of breakfast or lunch fare.
  • For $12, you get $25 worth of dinner fare.

Head chef "Cookie" Hadley leads taste buds on a filling culinary adventure through sustainably harvested and locally raised ingredients free of nitrates, hormones, and trans-fats. Organic fair-trade coffee ($2.25) washes down a hearty breakfast menu featuring inventive dishes such as the shrimp and grits, a flavorful symphony of sautéed domestic white shrimp, andouille sausage, and poblano peppers served over parmesan grits ($11.95). During lunch, famous fish tacos stuffed with tempura tilapia ($8.75 for two) silence stomach caterwauls, preventing diners from being accused of smuggling accordions under their coats. Jumpstart dinner with the meat-free and alliterative black-bean burger ($9.50) or the filet cabernet, a farm-raised beef tenderloin grilled to order and served with caramelized shallots, balsamic-cabernet demi-glace, and sour cream and chive mashed potatoes ($24). The Morning Glory Café also supports ASAP, a sustainable agriculture project designed to create and expand local food markets and duality for common abbreviations.
