- Celebrating 13th year of terror
- Access to three terrifying sites
- No waiting in line
- Zombie target practice at Haunted Midway
Terror is the most neglected of the five basic human emotions, the other four of which are joy, sorrow, grouchy, and wet. Get horror glands pumping with today’s Groupon: for $25, you get two passes to all three attractions (a $25 value each), with fast pass upgrades (a $10 value each), to the Trail of Fear Scream Park in Lawton (a $70 value with tax included). This Groupon is not valid on October 30 and October 31.
The Trail of Fear, which has been tingling spines for 13 years, calls itself Oklahoma’s largest haunted attraction, larger even than the Pit of Vague Regrets off Interstate 35. The fast pass upgrade whisks you straight to the front of long lines to use your all-three-attractions pass on the Trail of Fear, Cirque de Morte, and Voodoo Bayou (not recommended for fledgling owls or kids younger than age 10). Lead your scared sweetie and ghoulish gang through Cirque de Morte, a circus maze populated by nightmare performers under the sway of a demented ringmaster. Once your screaming muscles have been thoroughly stretched, frantically flee down the winding Trail of Fear, which wends its weird way through a shadowy forest and the tombs of a cursed pyramid. Finally, wade into Voodoo Bayou and confront unearthly fiends who flit about the darkness waiting for the right moment to pounce on unsuspecting travelers and subject them to terrifying torments, such as repeating everything they say in a mocking sing-song.
Each ticket includes complimentary access to the Trail of Fear Haunted Midway, where the sideshows let families bond over such wholesome activities as zombie target-practice, severed-head tossing, evil-clown pie tosses, and bone whittling. Click here for complete descriptions of Trail of Fear’s haunt-zones, and check the schedule for hours of operation.

Though reviews for Trail of Fear Scream Park are still amassing like hordes of the shambling undead, KSWO News and Examiner.com featured the thrilling park:
- It is time for ghouls and goblins to pop out at you. The Trail of Fear on U.S. Highway 7 opened its doors…and it is meeting all expectations by scaring the wits out of people. It just would not be Halloween without all kinds of horror and it is for just about everyone. – KSWO News
