What You'll Get
Often mistaken for the largest organ of the human body, the skin is actually dwarfed in size by the aura, an invisible cotton-candy-like shroud that envelops the body and attracts bees. Mollycoddle both skin and aura with today's Groupon: for $20, you get either a 60-minute massage or a 60-minute facial at Tranquil Touch Spa (a $55 value).
Tranquil Touch Spa promotes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being with a menu of massage, facial, and foot-therapy services administered in a soothing setting. The spa's staff of trained and licensed therapists and aestheticians stands armed with an arsenal of Aveda products to pamper clients into a stupefied bliss. Opt for a one-hour massage, choosing between four options. The Tranquil Touch combines a smorgasbord of massage techniques and chases it with enticing aromas, hot towels, and unwinding oils, and the body-brushing massage employs a soft bristle brush to exfoliate the skin and increase lymph flow. Birthers-to-be can unwind with the Mommy massage, with its focus on tight hips and swollen feet, and the inward-looking can indulge in the Chakra Balance massage, with its meditative mission to relieve stress and increase energy. Clients may also upgrade to a 90-minute ($80) or a 120-minute massage ($120) for an additional cost.
Tranquil Touch Spa's facial options offer dermal diversity. Receive individualized attention with an Aveda customized facial, sidekicked by aromas, hot towels, and a relaxation massage; treat your better side to a purifying back facial using detoxifying seaweed; or bling up your bodysuit with the diamond dermabrasion skincare treatment, reversing solar damage and sorting out Rorschach-esque patches of blotchiness. Each treatment lasts 60 minutes. Customers who choose any of these three facial options may opt into the Aveda green science peel, a 30% glycolic peel with aloe and argan-leaf extract, for an additional $25. Give skin or sore muscles something to smile about with the help of Tranquil Touch Spa.

About Tranquil Touch Spa
Melinda Taylor started dreaming about feet in high school. Confused by the recurring visions, she asked a teacher for advice and began to study reflexology—the practice of gently massaging pressure points along the feet in order to promote well-being across the entire body. Melinda’s first encounter with the healing bodywork technique cemented her resolve to study massage therapy, and she eventually founded her own spa with numerous modalities on the menu.
The spa includes four private treatment rooms, each of which is designed to channel one of the four elements (earth, fire, air, and water) that Aristotle discovered with his particle accelerator. The rooms’ different energies serve different purposes—with the earth room aimed at relaxing minds and the fire room intended to cultivate inner strength. Outside these rooms, the spa's aestheticians and technicians incorporate botanically derived Aveda products into skincare treatments and paint nails with chip-resistant OPI gel polishes.
