About Virtual Imaging
Virtual Imaging's office is the only place in the state of Georgia where you can find Imatron's EBCT C300 scanner. The high-tech piece of medical CT scanning equipment helps its subjects prevent heart attacks by spotting coronary calcium and plaque deposits, and can also detect the telltale signs of lung and colon cancer before the disease takes hold of the body. Using electron beam tomography (EBT), the scanner also records images of the abdominal area using less radiation than a standard CT machine.
