There were so many negative responses to the Vue I was not expecting a very good experience but I was very much surprised how much I enjoyed the food. We did get there when they first opened up at 5PM so we other than us there were only one other family there. The fish was very fresh and what we ordered was very good. Service was excellent. I would return to the Vue if I get back down to the area.

Before sushi proved how delightful rolled-up food could be, fish had been served folded over and rice woven into a basket. Avoid stretching your mouth on a sushi basket with today’s Groupon: for $12, you get $25 worth of premium sushi and upscale martinis at Vue in St. Petersburg. Although Vue just recently opened, the renovated, swanky space is starting to draw downtown crowds using its strong gravitational pull of high-end drinks and fresh seafood. Start off with a spicy tuna hand roll ($5) or miso soup ($4) before moving on to the bounty of fresh sashimi ($4–$6), or opt for specialty rolls such as the baja spicy salmon with cilantro, red pepper, and roe ($6.50). Martini mixologists can also complement any meal with a signature cocktail, ideal for an evening of sophistication or a business meeting concerning the acquisition of more miniature green houses and red hotels. About Vue

Part club and part sushi bar, Vue takes its name from its 19th-floor lodging in the Bank of America building, where it provides stunning vistas of the surrounding skyline and waterfront. However, there's plenty to see inside--the sushi dining area boasts a shaded outdoor patio, flatscreen TVs both indoors and out, and a menu of hand-crafted sushi rolls and specialty martinis. Behind the sushi bar, chefs seal seaweed wrappers around the skyway spicy tuna roll with roe cheese or the white tiger salmon roll with avocado and asparagus.

In the club, DJs spin tunes and alter beats as guests dance on the rooftop patio or spacious, blue- and pink-lit dance floor. Should dancers require sustenance, the bar also serves some of the sushi treats, such as lobster California and volcano krab stick rolls, from its sister restaurant.
