About Willie Pewitt Golf Academy
Willie Pewitt, from Detroit, Michigan, grew up playing competitive golf from an early age. After spending some years playing, Willie turned his focus to coaching and always helped people improve and enjoy golf. He quickly became a well-respected instructor in the Detroit and surrounding areas and over a short period of time, he was named the head golf professional at Links at Gateway Golf Club in Romulus, Michigan. Being the founder and lead golf instructor at the Willie Pewitt Golf Academy (located at Links at Gateway Golf Course), Willie continued to develop his knowledge and coaching skills, while working with players of various levels, including young elite amateur players and experienced tournament players.
