Good place We stayed here just for an overnight while in the area. The room was quite large and was very clean. The price was also good - about half of Best Western next door. The area is safe. I'd stay again. There is no free breakfast but that's not bad considering the cost of the room.

Very unhappy with room and staff Myself and 2 other ladies stayed at the Motel 6 in Abbeville, La. First we stayed in the back part of the motel that is not attached to the lobby and/or main part. The reason we HAD to stay there was bc the other 2 ladies were not able to climb stairs, there were no bottom floor rooms. When we called we were told we could have a handicap room. The card machine was down but was assured everything would be fine when we got there on the 28th of June. Well that was not true, so we get a room around the property in the back. After traveling all day we get in our room, go meet our family and come back to rest. It is storming now and we have a almost empty roll of toilet paper, no kleenex in the proper area, no shampoo, etc. We call the front desk and are told WE MUST come to the office because she is by herself, we are at the back of the property and no covered walkway once we pass the few detattched rooms. We make do til morning, call the office at 7:15 for toilet tissue and kleenex, only to be told we would have to come get it. There was some kind of liquid on the wood floor that was black, not sure what it was. The bathroom needed some updating/cleaning/repairs. Once we turned in our cards and told the girl we were leaving the room needed supplies, she just had a blank stare on her face. She did not say 1 word....nothing!

Flood victim Just want to say having been through the devastation of the recent Louisiana floods this hotel was a blessing. I,along with other flood victims, were treated with so much respect by management and staff that it really helped us through this rough patch. I will be forever grateful to these awesome people.

Motel 6 should be -6 Monday August 15, I got stuck in Abbeville La. the water was coming up on both sides of town and there was no escape. I tried to find another place to stay but only option was Motel 6, I stayed in room 212, only had smoking rooms available. Upon entering the room there was a smell, then I looked at the ceiling by the window and they had black mold also had mold on light fixtures. I would not recommend staying there.

Great! I have had a great experience here at the 6. I am here on business and it is hard finding a good rate on a place while having access to a refrigerator and microwave. Motel 6 was able to offer me that in a newly renovated building.
