OK hotel for one night Average hotel showing its age. Price was the main attraction when booking. Hotel is located a ways from the interstate but would be great if you were going to the medical center. Breakfast was bad even by COVID world standards. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room decor was all dark brown and a little dreary.

One of the worst Comfort Suite experiences I have had in over 10-years of loyalty. I've stayed at this hotel many times over the past 5-6 years. This stay was for 3-days. Every time I have stayed, I have found the hotel and staff in worse condition than the previous stay. The room smelled damp and musty; the chair in the room had the entire outer covering worn off the seat; the drain in the bath tub appeared as if a 5-year old had been given a tube of caulk and told to repair it; no housekeeping was provided except they took all the towels and bath mat without leaving any to replace them. When I went to the desk to get some, I was told the desk was not left any so they had none to give me. I was offered pool towels with the exclamation "they're pretty frayed on the ends". Finally, while eating breakfast, we witnessed a family enter the breakfast area about 20-minutes prior to the "close" of breakfast and were told by the woman staff, "I ain't putting anything else out". Additionally, the removed the milk and started cleaning the food area with a spray bottle and was slamming cabinet doors about 10-minutes prior to the official closing time for breakfast. Unfortunately, I have stayed at this hotel my last time and I recommend you do the same.

Rude and judgemental front desk attendees. The front desk staff was terrible, my wives key card to the room went out and when she tries to replace it the front desk attendee tried to call the cops on her. This place even told my teen daughter and friend that their swimsuits were inappropriate to swim in the pool. My key card has deactivated every night even when not located near my cell phone, the staff really needs to work on their customer service and treating people well. The front desk attendee even lied to management telling them that my family was throwing things at them. I have it all on video that my daughter recorded and all I see are threats of calling the police on my family because their room key didn't work. It's hard to come on vacation, spend $837 and be treated like a piece of trash..I really just want a full refund so that I can enjoy the rest of my vacation with my family.

Outdated and overpriced Room/carpet smelled musty, makeup on hair dryer, Cheetos were all over the closet floor so I question whether my room was vacuumed. Highly embarrassing price I paid for quality of hotel, especially compared to more updated competitors. I always try to stay with Choice hotels but may need to start using other hotels, especially in the Abilene area.

Charge $250 for not smoking Wow. Got robbed $250 for not smoking in a room there. They told me at the front desk exactly what would happen if anyone in our party had smoked in the room. I of course said thats fine I do not like staying in smoking rooms regardless. We checked in at 3 am and went straight to bed after getting snacks. The room was fine nothing special, but had a weird odor to it, it smelled like an elderly persons house to be honest. Yes the smell there was odd but we stayed. Biggest mistake of my life. I woke up at 10 Am and immediately checked out. No one smoked in the room and when i checked my bank i was SHOCKED to say the least. I called and was told oh your room smelled like marijuana. IF I HAD SMOKED MARIJUANA THE WHOLE PLACE WOULD HAVE SMELLED LIKE IT. The rooms around it would reek. When I left the only smell was that old musty odor the place has. Thieves. 3 other people with me and they will all tell you the same thing. Room was never smoked in. And i can see the manager in charge on here replying to bad reviews making it seem like its their fault. TRY ME. You and I both know you are wrong. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place all around was terrible.
