Time to renovate This is an aging hotel, and it shows in both the rooms and the public areas. Our room was very much HIE standard in terms of its layout and furnishings, but the alarm clock was broken, and likewise the desk chair. There was no freezer element in the mini-frig, and an outdoor pool and hot tub full of leaf matter, with the hot tub so shallow that several of the jets were exposed to the air. On the plus side, the room was quiet, and the breakfast fare in keeping with what we find at mid-range hotels nationwide. The hotel is not convenient from the interstate, but if you are coming up from the south, access is easy.

Everything we needed in Abilene Our family visited the area for three nights booking a queen suite & king presidential suite. The hotel is located in an area convenient to just about everything. We joked that all restaurants, stores, airport & Dyess AFB were within 15 minutes of the hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and breakfast was excellent. The staff went above and beyond with any request including our early arrival.

Short stay, very pleased Came to Abilene for one night only and got a great deal here. Quick and friendly check in. Large, clean room with many extras - fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Love that the property is smoke free! Great breakfast the next morning too!

Best hotel I have stayed in since the pandemic started at this price range Absolutely one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in this price range in all of the lower 48. I have stayed in over 60 different hotels in the past 2 years so this is saying something. Clean, very clean, comfortable beds, 55 inch TV with Direct TV, plenty of USB and regular plugs in the room. Safe in the closet. Separate area for the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Nice little entry table to place keys, cards and sun glasses on. Absolutely the best hot breakfast since the pandemic started. Pancake machine, push a button and in 1 minute 2 pancakes come out. Scrambled eggs, egg white omelets, crispy bacon, sausage, cereal, so many juices, coffee, tea, bagels with cream cheese and yummy fresh cinnamon sticky buns. Soft, comfy sheets, true room blackout shades and subdued lighting. I will be back!

Great room King suite was large and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom large with lighted mirror. Ice machines worked, clean hotel, dining nearby. Front desk had an issue since using points, but called and asked what to do since he was new-ish and had not done this before. Will stay again if this way!
