Poor Customer Service It took 20 minutes for someone to show up at the desk, and then they couldn’t figure out how to get a card to run. After 10 minutes of this, they resorted to using the card chip to charge us instead. Not sure why they wouldn’t try that in the first place. No urgency to check us in, would have let us walk if we hadn’t suggested other ways to pay for our room. At least the pillows are comfy.

Disappointed in service and unwillingness to address reservation problem The front desk staff at check in was very rude and unwilling to help with an apparent "system issue" with my Hilton Honors reservation for 2 rooms. The hotel was overbooked and I was told that they only saw that I had 1 room reserved, not 2. The staff was not willing to call Hilton or would acknowledge my hard copy of reservation showing what had been booked 2 months ago. Furthermore, one desk clerk decided it was more appointment that she take a smoke break than to assist with rectifying the situation. Needless to say, I had to get rooms at another hotel that was not up to normal Hilton standards. I certainly hope I never have to visit Alexander City again.

Inept staff and manager at Hampton Inn Alex City After 500 mile driving trip went to check in and front desk said they can't check us in due to system being down due to electrical storm passing through. After 3 hr wait, manager tells us to go elsewhere. Next morning Hilton cancels our reservation, We were loyalty program diamond tier. What does the loyalty/rewards program mean? Manager blamed system not his fault and was disrespectful talking over us on line with Hilton corporate staff. This hotel should not be affiliated with Hilton. Manager needs training

I wish there were better options for hotels in Alexander City I stay here often for work because it is unfortunately the only close option. There is typically some type of issue each time. This week it was old food left in the freezer that appeared to be molded and clothes still in the drawers from the previous guests.
