Nice hotel but no elevator I spent 1 night here and have no major complaints. The hotel a budget hotel but it is nicely maintained and is in a good location. It is close to I-94 and there are a lot of dining options in the area. There are sidewalks/crosswalks so you can walk to some of them. My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful and made me feel welcome. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast but coffee was good. My only complaint is that there is no elevator. I was on the second floor and had to carry some heavy luggage up the stairs. If stairs will be a problem, request a room on the first floor.

Reservation making is Horrible Reservation making need to be better. Why can we not call directly to hotel? Associate could not speak English! Totlslly messed up my reservation. I paid triple what I was quoted.

Family visit It was all very good except connecting my wife’s computer to the internet. Otherwise we were very happy with the motel.

NOT pet friendly and rude general manager My dog figured out how to open the hotel room door when I was away. This, of course, is not the hotel’s fault and they understandably had to call law enforcement as she was running around unattended, but the staff did not notify me until I inquired at the desk about my missing dog. My children were distraught and crying that the dog was stolen or dead. It cost $95 to release her from impound the next morning. My dog was so afraid that she could not settle down the next day. She messed the carpet and I did my best to clean it up, but the carpet would need a shampoo. There was absolutely no permanent damage, but the hotel took my entire $200 deposit. Beyond these charges, my experience with the general manager was the most disappointing part. She never apologized for them not notifying me that my dog had gotten out though the entire situation could have been avoided if they had. I was only a few miles away and could have come collected her before law enforcement or at the very least avoided the overnight fees and scary experience from impound. She refused to provide any Itemization of the damages to to room and refused to provide any evidence of needing cleaning above and beyond a basic carpet shampoo. Surely the facility has their own carpet cleaner and I should not be charged extra for washing linens since that is done between guests anyway. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years and several of my wedding guests did as well, and I am appalled that a customer would be treated this way.

Nice hotel This was a very nice hotel. It was quiet and clean. The hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast was really nice! There was staff nearby making sure it was all clean and stocked and one morning of our stay there was biscuits and gravy. I would stay here again!
