Super dog friendly, great location I have stayed in Alexandria many times, but not usually with my dog. I had never stayed in the north side of town and I was very pleasantly surprised. This location is walking distance to nearby stores and restaurants and just probably 10-15 minutes to the "center" of town (King St.). There is a dog park nearby and plenty of walking space and sidewalks to take care of pets. The hotel is in good condition (though one of the elevators was being repaired, but that happens). Our room was clean and spacious (three people + dog). Our visit was in mid-April and all of the staff and guests were taking covid precautions. I would highly recommend this location for pet owners and those wanting to see a different part of town.

Awful Awful service that starts with an understaffed reception generating long queues to check in. On a Friday evening and a fully booked hotel for the whole weekend only one lift is operational! One lift for the hundreds of guests! We’ve been waiting for over 10 mins every time we try to leave the room! We are 3 guests but there are only towels for 2. I just called reception and the man said he’s by himself so I have to go and get the towels myself from reception.... is this for real? There are no staff members on site and one of the many drunk guests just PUKED ALL OVER the ground floor by the only lift entrance!!!! And her friends are trying to clean it up with napkins, you could not make this up! The smell is putrid and not a single hotel worker is aware of this because that’s right.... there aren’t any! The shower LEAKS EVERYWHERE, all the room doors close with a loud bang, the beds are hard, the pillows uncomfortable, the sofa bed for my kid undone and to top it all up, we have been denied late check out at 2 pm on Monday unless we pay $50!!!! That’s on top of the daily $32 fee for parking for which you have to take a different lift to the hotel lobby. This is the worst Sheraton I’ve ever been to in my life and the worst service. I will never be back!

Great room, service needs improvement. The hotel facility is great, but service needs some work. The hotel is recently renovated. The rooms and common areas are modern & very clean. I liked the decor & the rooms are large & comfortable. The room was conveniently located for our trip. We found the service frustrating, likely due to Covid restrictions & limited staff. We called the front desk from our room twice, no one ever answered. Check in was complicated by the language skills of the front desk clerk. She also failed to offer us our Platinum benefits. We chose the breakfast benefit. Ordering breakfast was complicated by the waitress’ language skills. The food was fine, but we didn’t enjoy the experience & only ate at the restaurant once. One of the 2 elevators was not working. This made getting to & from our 10th floor room time consuming. It also meant that there was no social distancing in the elevator bc people packed in. There is no daily housekeeping due to Covid. That’s fine, but dirty towels were left outside of another guest’s room for an entire day. I will give this hotel another try to see if service improves.

Very Disappointed with Hotel The 2 day stay was very disappointing. The fridge didn’t work. Finally after 3 phone calls, they replaced it. The bed was supposed to be a queen, but it was a double. Had to call for towels and coffee replacement three times. Very disappointed.

Not a Good Neighbor This hotel is not a good neighbor. On the weekends it allows large parties that play very loud music. You could hear the music word for word two blocks away. Other weekends you can hear parties from rooms. When I visited the hotel and asked them to stop they told me to call the police. The Alexandria police no longer responds to the noise ordinance. Our building had to listen to music for four hours. Eventually the party ended and then resumed on the terrace.
