Altoona Curve Game Visit We had tickets for the Altoona Curve baseball game for the past two years. Both times we stayed the night at the Altoona Grand Hotel. Both times we had a really good experience. The hotel is clean. It’s in a great location and the staff is super friendly and helpful. This year, there were 12 of us waiting for game time and the staff opened the bar an hour early for us! We really appreciated it! The morning breakfast buffet was pretty carb heavy but it served the purpose. All in all, for the money we spent, the Altoona Grand can’t be beat!

Hotel The rooms were small and the bathroom is extremely small. The heat was loud and made a banging noise. The Staff was great and very friendly. The breakfast was ok but not very kid friendly. The only have 1 waffle maker for the entire hotel to use.

Great full service hotel close to I99 Great full service hotel. We arrived after a long day of driving to find a friendly reception from desk clerk who efficiently checked us into a clean and well appointed room. It was an interior room overlooking an indoor courtyard that was very quiet and convenient to other parts of the hotel. The room was super clean with a separate bathroom sink area and sufficient furniture and comfortable mattress. Wifi was good and there were plenty of channels on smallish (32 inch?) LCD TV. The only suggestion I have for the room is a larger TV. We were able to visit the onsite pub for happy hour priced dinner with excellent cold beer and reasonable prices for pub type foods. Once again, we were greeted by friendly staff who took the time to talk to us about the area and efficiently deliver our food and drink order. The breakfast was OK - simple continental breakfast with toast, waffles, yougurt, cereals, apples, coffee, milk and juice. I would have liked a bagel or better fruit choices but understand that on weekends they have a larger buffet. It was enough to get our day started. Overall an excellent choice of a hotel at a resonable price when travelling through the area.

Ripped carpet and toenail clippings. Stay away For $135 I got a room by the pool. The carpet was torn so bad that it could be a trip hazard. Also, there were TOENAIL clippings in the bed. We stayed for 3 hours and decided not to spend the night there.

Good Overnight Stop Convenient overnight stop near highway and five minutes from the Altoona Curve Baseball field. Slightly dated decor in public areas but fresh and clean. Good variety at breakfast buffet. Servers were on top of the hot food . Desk staff and friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet room.
