Great for an Econo Lodge Pretty good for a worn out Econo Lodge! Obvious patches on the walls. Floor tiles broken. Carpet in the hallway was threadbare and loose. It has more swells than a Pacific beach. Room furniture was worn out. Absolutely no fruit or oatmeal on the breakfast bar. Stayed overnight and never got a key to our room because of the Cloudstrike outage. Desk clerk let us in at check in and after dinner. Digital key was supposed to work but in true Hilton fashion, it didn't. No one offered a key in the morning. Hotel was clean though. Called Hilton customer service to report issues. Got bounced around 3 times then promised that someone would call me in 3-5 days. Been over a week now and no call. Showed how much Hilton values customers.

Terrible Management The room itself and the front desk employees were fine (3 stars) but my problem came after we left. I was charged a pet fee of $75. I have no pet. There was no pet fee on my receipt . It was added after checking out. There was a dog in the next room we could hear barking through our bathroom wall. I have tried for the last 6 weeks to receive an answer and a refund from Amarillo West. The manager has been unresponsive and refused to return my calls. I finally received help from Hilton Corporate ! I will not stay ever again at the Amarillo West Hampton Inn. I have been Hilton Honors member for the past 13 years.

Bad hotel, move on We were told we needed to park our RV in adjacent businesses parking lot, but their manager said no so that was misinformation. They would not let us park there until after 11 PM. Also it was dirty, the rugs were torn, grounds run down, the front desk clerk was nice but said there was nothing she could do. Very disappointed in Hilton, this seemed like a 1 star hotel at best. I have pictures I will try to share. This hotel shouldn’t be a Hilton property.

Not Up To Usual Hilton Quality A very good un down Hilton property. Weird pillows, run down inside and out. Sorry looking breakfast. Surprised Hilton allows this in their brand. Not what I expect. The whole place has a funny oder ..maybe pest control spray? We won't be returning.

Horrible hotel WORST HOTEL EVER! I have stayed in hotels in third world countries and they were better than this dump. First, the entrance is littered with dog poop --- this is a pet friendly hotel, but there are not facilities to bag poop or to throw it away. (see pics) Second, there is not enough parking and what is there is poorly lit. When I asked at the front desk about parking, they said "just find something around here." Around here meant other properties parking! Third, the property is unkept with weeds growing everywhere (see pics). The room and hallways were worn out to say the least. Bubbled carpet in halls and torn carpet in the room. The cherry on top was when I mention this to the front desk, the person got defensive ("what's wrong with this hotel?!?"), and then said the hotel was going to start renovations next week. My guess is this last one is probably a lie they tell to anyone that complains. I raised this issue to Hilton corporate. They sent this info to the hotel and they have REFUSED to make anything right. STAY AWAY!!!!
