Amazing service, friendly people My dad and I stayed here, and the people at the front desk were so nice, and the room was perfect. In the morning when we went to get breakfast the woman working was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet, and made conversation. All in all it was a great stay.

Below expectations Won’t be back- -Award night not allowed for platinum -Internet was terrible -door had to be closed forcibly to close - loud due to proximity of interstate - hard to get to for construction All of these were inconveniences but livable. Hotel was theoretically sold out so we couldn’t book another room for family member. Then Our toilet stopped working and they told us no one here to fix it but would move us to another room. When I said I thought you were sold out, I was told that “we keep an extra of each room type for when things like this happen. I asked if we could also use the room without a working toilet since no one else could use it for the night. “No but we could sell it for 1/2 price”. So we couldn’t use award night, no consideration for moving rooms, and were “allowed” to pay another $85 for a room with no toilet. It’s rare for us to stay at holiday inn Express anymore. Normally it’s holiday inn when we use IHG properties. Last few experiences with express have all been subpar. This one appeared to be clean- but not the service we’re used to- and certainly no feeling of appreciation. My rule is to stick with 4 star or better ratings when booking- broke my rule for this one location… but wish I hadn’t. The fact that they were able to squeeze an extra $85 out of us I guess gives them the win.

Denied Service for Wearing a Mask I stopped in the middle of the night after driving for eight hours. I went inside with my mask on and the (unmasked) attendant looked at me like I had two heads and rather rudely asked what I wanted. I asked for a room and she said that there were two soccer teams that took up all of the rooms. The parking lot was mostly empty and her body language was fairly clear she didn’t want me there. Quite honestly, I have the freedom to take my business to places that take the pandemic and public health seriously.

Don’t believe the bad reviews! Husband, myself, and our chihuahua stayed for one night. Hotel seemed immaculate and staff was very kind. Our room was spotless,(and I’m very picky) had absolutely no dog-room odor, and was extremely modern and clean. They gave us a to-go breakfast in the morning! Very happy customer!

Disgustingly dirty room, employees are not cooperating with Covid guidelines It is clear that the Covid cleaning protocols promoting on the Holiday Inn website are not followed at all. It starts at the front desk with the clerk wearing her mask under her chin. But most of all, it was the condition of the room. Despite the "sanitary sticker" on the door, the room was not clean at all. In fact, in all of my years of travel, including in many developing countries, I have never encountered such a dirty bathroom. The sink had crud and food particles in it. The toilet had urine stains and hairs. If it weren't for Covid I would have requested another room, but I didn't want to have to deal with the front desk again and risk a different room. So, for the first time in my life I cleaned the hotel bathroom myself. I couldn't wait to leave.
