Holiday Inn Express Andalusia by IHG

Roach Hotel by LT I came to Andalusia to the Holiday Inn Express for a Family Reunion and to celebrate my 52nd Birthday. At first this Hotel was very pleasant, friendly staff, continental breakfast was very good and rooms appeared to be very. Things then took a turn for the worst on the second night of our four night stay at this Hotel. My cousin arrived on Friday night as we were to share the room over the weekend and as he entered the room he noticed a roach behind the entry door on the wall. He immediately took a picture of it and I proceeded to kill it at which time we took it downstairs to the front desk and showed them the problem. They proceeded to offer us another room and only credited us that nights room charge which for me was a nice gesture but unacceptable as the problem is that where there’s one roach there’s probably another one hidden somewhere else. My concern was for my luggage and clothing that had a high possibility of having unwanted guests that I certainly didn’t want to take home with me. I certainly will not be staying in this Holiday Inn Express in Andalusia again. You make your own decision. Good Luck!

OVER PRICE, BUGS, FILTH AND SCUM Room was dirty, shower head doesn't work, hallway floors were black and smelt like sweat, bugs running under the bed and woke up to huge bugs on the floor that I almost stepped on. I would recommend checking the other hotels first and if need be use this as a last resort.

Great stay Great hotel ! Everything is clean and up to date. The rooms, bathrooms, refrigerator and microwave, breakfast area, lobby, fitness center, everything. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great, the bathroom was spacious, and we were in a king suite so we also had a couch/sitting area. We were on the bottom floor (room 108) and we never heard noise from upstairs or anywhere else. There were plenty of choices for breakfast including fresh fruit and a one minute pancake maker :) Amy at the front desk, Mary and Sue serving breakfast, and several others we encountered (I didn't get names) were all super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

Looking for Brenda Gantt Room was clean, comfy bed, and nice service. Covid precautions still in force, so grab and go breakfast. We stopped here hoping to run into Brenda Gantt around Andalusia. We even went to the Piggly Wiggly. We did not see her. People were nice and friendly.

Business Stay Stay for a business trip at a nearby facility. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was outstanding for a free hotel breakfast. My stay was very comfortable and if staying in this city, this is the hotel that I would recommend by far.
