Quality Inn & Suites Anderson I-69

Over priced and not clean! There was no one in the lobby when we walked in and then the front desk clerk tried to check us in and after 15 minutes he asked us to wait and went to get the manager Roy. They had to refresh the internet page, restart the program and then restart the computer. 25 minutes iof waiting we asked just to cancel and go somewhere else. He said no cancel. We waited another 10 minutes. Over 35 minutes of waiting and paid $250 for one night which is normally $89 per night. We asked for some discount for the inconvenience and he said corporate won’t let them and I told him then why are you a manager. They gave us a room next to the elevator too! Room was not clean - see photos.

Never stay here again! Beware! The hotel staff is terrible. They watch and peek around the corners to spy on what you are doing if you come out of your room. Hours after maid service. watching me leave my room, they entered it, unannounced. When confronted, did not give a reason, and just left. Snooping? Stealing? They posted a sign on the locked pool door, "Closed for maintenance" & pool only for registered guests. Registered guests wanting to use the pool must go and fill out the log at the front desk. Is it closed or not???? When in Anderson, I invite some family to my hotel and we use the pool. Not at this place; never has a hotel refused to allow me to have a few guests visit and use the pool. I only had 5 visitors. They locked my guests out of the hotel and threatened to call the cops. No disturbance by anyone. They even tried to force my car doors open. When I left and turned in my keys, I asked for a receipt. I was refused and told my receipt would come from Expedia. I have my Expedia receipt paid in full. I felt they were up to no good, so I checked my credit card, which they require me to have a copy of at check-in. They had fraudulently put a $90.00 purchase on my card, payable to the hotel. That is why they refused to give me a receipt. I had to file a fraud complaint with my credit card company and change my card number to prevent additional fraudulent charges. This may be how they operated in Pakistan or India, not in the USA! Beware, stay elsewhere!

Unhappy customer Checked in 2/11/23. Got a suite with hot tun on ground floor. Our window did not lock and we were in the back of the hotel and did not feel secure. Other suite was booked so couldn't move but they didn't try to provide any solutions to secure window. Hot tub wouldn't come on and desk clerk was extremely rude to us. Finally got it working but had to reset the plug in many times. The hot tub platform was in bad shape and needed repair.

Modern, Clean, Great Staff - Thanks Chris This is a great hotel, better than other higher priced properties in the area. Hotel is very modern; everything is in excellent condition. Breakfast is very good for a budget friendly hotel, eggs, meat, waffles, pastries, cereal, fruit. All the staff are great, always willing to help. I had made a mistake on my reservation, Chris D. went out of his way to get everything fixed, called me at home afterward to let me know the change in rates were finalized. I would stay here every time I am in the area.

Good Staff, Good location, not to expensive The staff was very friendly, The pool was clean and easy to use especialy the hot tub. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was like being at a family place, THe front desk was everytime there to help. We will definatly stay there again.
