Perfect for our anniversary. Fell in love all over again. Perfect trip to Kamalame key for my husband and I to celebrate our 25th anniversary and to get some quiet time away from the family, kids and our 3 dogs! Food was amazing. Meet chef and got to make conchs salad from scratch. Went to the north beach for a picnic. Watched some spectacular sunsets and sunrises and really did nothing but eat and drink and sleep in. Loved our bungalow. Loved the staff and love my husband for making this trip happen we needed it.

Unplug from life… A vacation of superlatives. Most beautiful place, freshest fish, greatest staff. All of the details from breakfast to afternoon cookies was executed to perfection. Enjoy the days but make sure to take in the moon & starlight with next to no light pollution. Can not say a bad thing about this place and can not wait to return next year. Kamalame is all that is advertised.

The worst holiday Please avoid this resort. Room was not clean, curtain got torn and curtain rail had rusted, there is no proper curtain so you will be woken up by the sun rise. The blind was also broken, no hot water after arriving from London 12hrs flight and had shower with cold water. I had to wait for 2 days to get coffee refill. The worst thing was no wifi in the room nor phone. Everything is done by whatsapp. They kindly offered to use their mobile since we are from UK and bill will be enormous if we use data. But even I had to wait for a couple of days to get proper service and room maintenance. They also don't control the pest and we were bitten by sandfly a lot. The breakfast was included but that was just muffins and fruits which will be delivered to the cottage. We expect basic breakfast if this is included the price. If you are coming from US and spending 2-3 days here which most people do, that is fine. But if you are thinking about staying here for more than 7 days visiting from Europe, this place is not for you. This was the worst experience on our holiday.

Definitely not a 5 Star resort The grounds at Kamalame are beautiful, and at some point in the past it probably was a brilliant resort…. Everything looked like it needs some repairs. The rooms were definitely not 5 stars and neither the food in the restaurants. The morning breakfast basket is a sweet idea, but the food in it not very good…for example we had one yoghurt in there for two people and 3 green very unripe bananas… the best thing were the afternoon cookies in a mason jar, which we ate for breakfast… Also morning runners/ walkers beware, there is a pesticide truck on the road every morning between 7am and 7.45…. Bad surprise while running or having your coffee out on the porch at that time… This should be made known to the guests…. Our room seemed like it was under construction, it looked like they were in the process of sanding the floors… the patio door didn’t shut, wind howled through at night, the indoor shower didn’t work at all, the outdoor shower did. The window curtains had holes in them the rods were so rusted that the curtains didn’t move… One day they made the bed and took our flat sheet without replacing it, the office was closed the numbers they gave us didn’t work … At the end, when we were checking out, we were charged an amount but not everything because the manager said there was some mess up with the bill, 3 days later we got a bill emailed and had our card charged, with a lot of questionable items, nothing explained, the manager never answered back to us. The employees were nice enough in the restaurants, I think it comes all down to very very bad management….there are plenty of other places to visit, needless to say we won’t be back.

SCAM This was a paradise turned nightmare scenario. We had to beg to get wifi and after the sixth attempt, refused to leave the office until they gave us wifi. They overcharged us and annihilated our bill, then refused to provide an itemized receipt for any of the mysterious charges. The staff acted inconvenienced if you contacted them for anything at all such as ORDERING FOOD. You had to make an ordeal if you wanted to get anything at all done. There were multiple days we were starved for hours and the pool bar which initially claimed to be open at all daylight hours told us "kitchen closed." I just feel fortunate nothing exceptionally dangerous happened while here ie, being robbed or shark attack etc. Freezing cold showers, barely any water pressure. If staff is culturally on "island time" they probably shouldn't be running a resort. I wouldn't come here again. Positives: island is beautiful and food was good.
