Average but good We stayed here for 3 nights while in Arlington for a conference. Check-in went smoothly and the front desk staff was very friendly. For some reason, we were given a handicap-accessible room, which we did not request, and it had its challenges as we did not need such a room. (Not sure if it was because we booked on a third party website?) The bathroom sink had zero counter space and the roll-in shower had no lip whatsoever. I'm sure that's great if you are in a wheelchair, but we were not and it made for a watery mess on the bathroom floor. The hair dryer worked but it was covered in some sort of sticky substance. The thermostat was "automated" so it regulated the temperature in the room if you left and when you returned...or when it thought you left and/or returned! If you sat down for any length of time or were sleeping, the thermostat thought you were gone and would keep the room about 3 degrees higher than the A/C was set. It was annoying to have to adjust the temps up/down to keep the room comfortable. The hotel was very quiet, which was nice. We were pleasantly surprised it was so quiet, especially since the window to our room faced the front entrance. We would consider staying here again but would definitely request a non-accessible room.

No more than an average hotel I been staying at Candlewood in Arlington for quite a while, my first deception was that there's no pool, there also not much space to hang out except the little BBQ area in the the parking lot, been right under rooms window, those rooms get easily disturbed by noise. Room are Ok, kinda retro with the brownish and cigarette yellow color. The kitchen utensils are minimalist for long stay. I appreciate the storage, wardrobe could fits 2 big travel luggages, and there's 3 wide drawers for your stuff. I wonder why such a small room as 2 telephone..? There's free laundry machine. The gym room is in the same room as the laundry separated by a wall which is a little weird. Overall, after long stay i can easily tell what i missed or what's weird, but it is still an ok hotel.

Great place to stay with exceptional customer service! I stayed at this extended stay hotel for 5 months and it almost felt like being at home. Very clean and a great place to rest that is convenient to attractions and was very close to where I was working at on a temporary basis. What sets this facility apart is the customer service. Monica Barraza at the front desk sets the standard for customer service which transcends into all of those that work the front desk including Brooke. Well done and keep up the great work!

Business trip to the Metroplex Candlewood Suites was not my first, second, or even third choice but the rate was within my travel rate limit, the reviews and location decent. Caitlin the operations manager was nice and did her best to accommodate my early check in request at 10am. Thanks Caitlin and the housekeeping staff. First impressions are important but don't always tell the story. The front desk/lobby area is small and there's a dingy throw rug that needs to be removed. The elevators have carpeting that needs to be removed/replaced. Also the carpet in hallway on the upper floor needs to be removed/replaced. Due to the dingy carpeting, I am apprehensive upon entering my room. What will I see upon entry? Much to my surprise and delight, the room was very clean, no dingy carpeting, bed was comfy. The room included a kitchenette with essential to cook a meal. Bathroom was clean. No fancy toiletries but accommodating supplies. Clean rooms, kind staff, several restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Enjoyed my stay. The hotel ownership needs to invest in flooring in the common areas.
