Red Roof Inn Asheville - Biltmore West

Worst Hotel experience I've ever had. WORST hotel we have ever stayed at. To start off, the man claiming to own the place is not nice at all. We drove over 13 hours to bring down donations to the people that lost everything in the hurricane. My mom asked to use the restroom when we arrived and were checking in due to the long drive. The owner told her NO she could wait until she got into her own room. Once we were given the key, attempting to enter the room was not easy as the key lock was missing the front of devise, and was broken so it only worked when it wanted, and you had to shove it open. Once we got into the room, the mini fridge did not work. The hair dryer did not work and when we attempted to call and ask for more towels the phone was also broken and did not work. We only stayed 2 days and when we arrived we had a 1/2 roll of TP in the room, by the 2nd night we had to go down to the front at 4am bc that 1/2 roll is all that was in the room. After night 1 we asked for some additional towels bc some water that spilled on the floor and we used one of them to clean up the water, which made the towel black and brown from how dirty the carpet was. We originally asked for towels in the morning when leaving for the day, later that evening when we got back and noticed we still didn't have any towels I was told by the lady in the front that the owner told her to not leave the front area for any reason, so she couldn't leave to get me more towels. Come to find out the man that owns the place lives in the hotel as well and was in the next room over. When we checked out on Sunday, we still didn't have any towels. In addition to that the place is dirty, smells like weed and smoke and EVERYTHING in the room was broken and not functioning.

Roaches Nothing like waking up to a roach crawling on you. Multiple roaches found in the room. Checked in late at night with hotwire. Feel ripped of paying $120 Dirty outside No fridge or in room coffee. No breakfast I’ve stayed at Redroof inns before. Most are an excellent value and clean. Definitely avoid this one.

Might want to pass on this one. Front desk lady was so sweet but this hotel is unsafe. First room had dirty sheets. Both rooms smelled of Marijuana being smoked in there as well as throught the place. Constant traffic all night in the parking lot and homeless every where. Saw a female fist fight first 30 min and cops were called. Ac was nice and cold but toilet was not bolted properly and moved every use. Happy no pet fee but it was a sketchy night. Not for solo or child travel.

Dissapointing Very disappointing given the cost. The room was clean, however there was no refrigerator, microwave or coffee making equipment. Only one bath towel though two of us were in the room. Only one ice vending machine available in the entire complex. No breakfast supplied. Charged $189.00 for a one night stay.
