Hampton Inn Atlanta-Georgia Tech-Downtown

Great staff and clean place My mom and I had a great experience staying in this hotel for four nights. Very clean and quiet place with good breakfast and nice staff. Shout out to the staff Kristen and Anthony who did amazing job, very supportive, friendly and caring!m, thank you!

A spot to stop The location was ideal to get around. We spent two nights at the hotel and used it as a base for sightseeing and to get to the airport quickly. The hotel is a bit worn and the carpet was old and a bit smelly. There were stains on the carpet in the room, the pillows were flat and not the cleanest, I didn't use one of the pillows because I found it to have a body odour. We had a room with two queen mattresses and I found the mattresses needed replacing and were on the softer side but were adequate. The bathroom was adequately clean but not squeaky clean and a hair was found in a towel which prompted me to ask for additional towels which I did get immediately. Food was left in the mini fridge from the previous occupants and had a stench so we kept it shut. The breakfast was also adequate and hot but the fruit was old and lacked variety. We observed the same fruit from the day of check-in being left for breakfast. The bananas did not look appetizing and the apple was brown and tasted off. There was a coffee maker in our room, however, being tea drinkers we were fortunate enough to head down to the lobby and grab a few tea bags. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful which made it bearable but having stayed in multiple Hampton Inns and Hilton Hotels, this is the worst I've been to thus far. I did leave a review immediately after my visit with my hilton honors review and hopefully it is seen and appropriate adjustments made.

Don't fall for the non-refundable rate!!! I never should have fallen for the non-refundable rate. My husband had to have emergency heart surgery and we were not able to cancel the reservation. Plus, we reserved this hotel to attend the Georgia/Georgia Tech game, and the time was moved so that this reservation would not have worked anyway.

Accommodating friendly staff Hotel is nicely average, almost cozy Hampton Inn tucked just around the corner from Georgia Tech. Clean room, very adequate included breakfast. The front desk, cleaning and valet staff all made it an altogether enjoyable experience. Everyone was just nice, easygoing and very accommodating in every interaction. Valet is no big deal if that's a turn-off btw. Most valet experiences seem unnecessarily expensive, complicated and slow. This valet stand is a few steps away from the front desk. We arrived after midnight and he came right out. $20 is probably pretty reasonable for the area, and the valet's garage is literally a few steps directly across from the front desk entrance. I imagine the only reason it has to be valet is just that it's a little too tight quarters if all the hotel patrons were trying to park their own cars in there. Perfect hotel for doing a tour at Georgia Tech. If my daughter winds up going there, we'll definitely be back.

Such A great place to be when you feel at home while being away from home. The Front Desk Staff was very well mannered and helpful, Ms. Andrel at the front made sure to take care each guest entering the door. she made my stay very cozy and I felt like she knew her guest very well. my over all stay was great and ill be sure to return. The only bad thing was that the breakfast didn't have grits only oatmeal instead.
