Enjoyed my stay My experience was very good because of Steven Hawthorne, he is engaging , friendly and was eager to help me check in early since my visit was short . This is an older property but is kept clean and I was told it would be updated in the coming year. My room was spacious and comfortable .

Run away from here as quick as you can If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Ill leave a bulletized list of things we ran into. For reference, we are a family of 4 moving to ATL, living in this hotel for about a month and a half: - Weed: The smell of pot permeates this entire place, except the lobby. Countless times, I saw people smoking weed at the pool, parking garage, and I have suspicion that an employee smokes it in the maintenance room right next to our room - Violence: last night, my daughters and wife were in the parking garage when a man beat the crap out of his girlfriend/wife. Hotel seemed to do nothing, despite being immediately notified. - Water: pipes burst while we were here, causing the water supply to shutdown for a number of hours. When it was turned back on, dark brown water came out of the spout for about 2 hrs. - Local Crime: This place is a warzone. Multiple shootings in the local area over the course of our time here. - Outdated: this hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt. It's severely outdated, musty and NOT the typical Marriot experience. I have two weeks left here. Hopefully we all survive and live to see the day we close on our house and get out of this increasingly kinetic environment. I love Marriott, but sheesh this one is bad...

Not as advertised Caution: Do not stay at the Residence Inn Lennox Park, Atlanta. It is falsely advertised as wheelchair accessible. It is only minimally so and only with help, even for a person otherwise totally independent. Unlike its website said, there isn’t a full kitchen in the accessible unit. It has a regular height counter with a tabletop microwave and two burners which were too high to access as were the dishes. There was no shower chair so I was told to use one of the dining room chairs in the two-bedroom “suite.” The accessible bathroom had the shower head fixed in the wrong direction and the shower curtain allowed the whole bathroom and some of the bedroom to flood. Only one side of the bed was accessible and ½ of the bureau accessible to my reach. I could not get to the desk in the other room and there was no desk in the “accessible room.” The clothing rod had been moved from low to regular height. None of these things were fixed in the four weeks we stayed there during home renovations. I wrote the President of Marriott Bonvoy who referred it to the local hotel. Over three months and several emails concerning the matter, I have not heard from them in a month and a half.

Checked in, 30 Minutes Later Checked Out Multiple problems wit this property. In this era of COVID cleanliness, the first room we were given had stains on toilet, hair on bathroom floor and dirt on kitchen floor. Key did not work. Given a second room. This one had large white paint stain on couch. When we went to use the phone to call the front desk, we found the phone was dead. It was connected to nothing. The biggest problem was the common area hallways. Here, large bags of garbage were left throughout the hallways. Bags of garbage were stacked 3-high next to second floor elevator. DISGUSTING!

Excellent Customer Service The property is an older property but the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was the best of any hotel I have stayed in recent memory. A word to the wise, hotels during COVID are seeing an uptick in party goers and this hotel is no different. It is difficult to manage for certain, but this hotel is placing families on the upper floors. I still smelled marijuana but whoever was smoking caused no loud noise or other issues. The entire area in Lenox Park appeared to be hopping with the bar scene on Saturday night despite a pandemic. The staff is happy to provide additional items needed for your stay, for instance my room was missing a skillet and they were more than happy to remedy the problem as they were unaware of the missing item. There is a toaster, microwave, dishwasher and 4 burner stovetop is the studio and Full stove with oven in the suite. I will be staying again soon and have already made reservations despite the issues that any hotel would have. The courtyard is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable- the main plus is that the beds are awesome!
